Grants and study awards


A programme that focus on relation between university and companies.

The winners of the ETSEQ-Company Work Experience Award will receive an amount equal to the MEQ enrolment fee and an accreditation diploma. The Company will monitor the student during the academic course. If this follow-up is positive, it will accept the student to carry out external work practice and the Final Master's Thesis in the Company during the second course.

"Premi DOW"

Premi DOW has the mission of promoting the application and developement of the competences which DOW and ETSEQ recognize as critical for personal and professional developement.

The prize is a structural position in DOW EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) related to chemical engineering.

"DOW sustainability and solutionism Award"

Students are exposed to an "open problem / improvement need". The participants, organized in teams, have to put into action their technical, methodological and organizational skills to find out the best/breakthrough solution related to energy efficiency/resource optimization/process improvement/logistics streamlining, etc.

Award: Scholarship to take a Master, preferably in any of the EMEA KU Priority in potential Dow's internship, like MEAPS at the ETSEQ.

"Talent master" grant

to recruit international and national students with a good academic transcript for a URV master's degree programme.

Open from 16 March to 4 May 2015 (11.59 p.m. Spanish peninsular time).

"Assistents docents"

Teaching assistant grants, to train students and introduce them to university teaching and/or research activities by involving them in tasks to support the master's degree teaching staff.

  • Spanish identity card, foreign resident's card or passport (foreign students only).
  • Degree certificate that entitles you to be admitted on the master's programme (if you do not have the certificate, you can present the receipt to show that you have paid the issuance fee).
  • Academic transcript listing the subjects studied, grades and number of hours/credits for each of them.
  • Curriculum vitae.

I have studied at a foreign university:

You have to present the documentation to the Postgraduate and Doctoral School (postgraduate@urv.cat). During the pre-enrolment process you can present the documents in pdf format. There is no need for them to be legalized or translated. Before you complete your enrolment, however, your documents must be legalized and translated, so you should consult the Requirements for foreign documents as soon as possible.

  • Passport or NIE (Spanish identification for foreign people living in Spain)
  • University qualification that entitles you to be admitted on the master's programme.
  • You must present the certificate. The graduation certificate is not valid in this case.
  • Academic transcript listing the subjects studied, grades and number of hours/credits for each of them. It must also contain information about the grading system applied.
  • Document stating that your qualification allows you to initiate a master's degree programme in the country of issue. If you have already studied a master's degree in another country, you can present the diploma. Example of a document for accessing a master's degree.
  • Curriculum vitae.
